We offer a number of incredible sport fishing options here in Providenciales, including deep sea fishing, bottom fishing and bonefishing. Our fishing grounds are just a quick 10 to 15 minute ride out from our base at Turtle Cove Marina, which is one of the great advantages of fishing in Turks and Caicos. No experience is necessary! First-time fisherman, novice anglers and seasoned pros are all welcome on board.

Deep Sea Fishing in Turks and Caicos

The Thrill of Chasing Big Game Fish Offshore

Deep sea fishing is also called offshore fishing, big game fishing and deep sea trolling where the boat pulls baited lines behind as it moves at slower speeds. The waters surrounding Providenciales offer excellent fishing opportunities year round to chase tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi, sailfish, marlin and more in up to six thousand feet of deep blue water.

From November to April, we experience a successful fishing season for wahoo and mahi mahi, while the summer months are ideal for catching tuna and blue marlin. During the winter and spring, we often encounter white marlin and sailfish. We make sure to release all billfish and proudly support The Billfish Foundation by participating in their Tag and Release Program. Deep Sea Fishing for mahi-mahi in Turks and Caicos with Panoply

In offshore waters, you can expect seas ranging from 3 to 5 feet, with frequent calm days in the summer. Our spacious sportfisherman vessel ensures a smooth ride, equipped with an enclosed, air-conditioned cabin and a covered bridge for shade. Our center console boats offer a fast ride with plenty of shade and comfort.

Our target species are highly migratory so the fishing spots and target catches vary seasonally and day to day. We fish the north side of the island on our deep sea fishing trips, with grounds stretching from West Caicos to Middle Caicos. Fishing is a great activity on the water to share with family and friends!

The Thrill of Chasing Big Game Fish Offshore

Bottom or reef fishing is perfect for the avid angler, first-timers or a fun-filled family day on the water. The Turks and Caicos’ shallow reefs and coral formations along the Caicos Banks are teeming with inshore species like grouper, snapper, and triggerfish which are a fantastic fight on light tackle and delicious to eat.

Especially suited for families with children, bottom fishing is inshore and just outside the reef, typically in calmer seas. We see higher yields for smaller fare as we anchor at our favourite spots along the reef or on the Caicos Banks.

While we are in constant motion for deep sea fishing, we are anchored in place outside the reef, a wreck, or coral head for bottom fishing. Lines are baited, typically with squid or caught baits, weighted and cast into the water to the bottom. Your targets include pot snapper, grey snapper, trigger fish, nassau grouper, strawberry grouper and more. Fish sizes can vary from 5 to 10 pounds and far beyond –  providing a great fight on light spinning tackle. Ask us about specialized trips for mutton snapper, conch diving and lobster diving (in season). Barracuda and sharks are also frequent visitors and provide added excitement. Bring your catch back to the dock and we’ll filet it to go!
